Daniela Torres is an Ecuadorian photographer based in Berlin since 2010. Her work is focused on celebrating nudity, imperfection and analog photography. She uses photography as a deep analysis and reflection of her inner self that always questions.
“In this series “Boys”, i decided to portray nude men to highlight the fact that the naked male body is not fully represented in current media. I set out to directly reverse the normal role of men photography and portraying women in this way. This project began with a simple role call on Craigslist in Berlin and then grew to include shoots in Cologne, Lagos in Portugal and in my home town of Quito, Ecuador.”
