Lucy Henshall is a painter and digital artist based in Amsterdam. She works in the creative industry as art director at a film production company, and has worked for KNEON magazine for a long time. Her work focuses on the post internet aesthetic, through a combination of drawings, watercolours, digital collages/artworks, gifs and animated drawings. This variety of media comes together in her focus on the “post-internet” world.
“I am fascinated by the unique language online and in print. I see a liberation in the way youth is represented, especially in fashion & modelling where there is a celebration of what used to be seen as strange looking. I am inspired and empowered by what I see happening in the world around me, despite the shit going on, I want to focus on the strong positive developments.”
