Ilaria is a self-taught photographer, originally from southern Italy, currently based in Venice. After studying linguistics, including sign language, she took a camera and started documenting her world and the people around her. She recently started a project on dysmorphia; a mental health condition where a person has an obsessive preoccupation with perceived flaws in one’s physical appearance.
