LISOLABLU — THE WOMEN SHE SEES

Motherhood, femininity, sisterhood and everything in between.

French photographer Lisolablu captures women through the many ways they experience life, from pregnancy and motherhood to femininity, friendship and sisterhood.

Working exclusively with natural light, she creates images that feel intimate and unforced. Rather than chasing perfection, she focuses on connection, giving her subjects the space to be themselves, whether they’re alone, with their children or surrounded by other women.

For Lisolablu, photographing motherhood is about much more than taking beautiful pictures. Since becoming a mother herself, she has come to appreciate just how precious these moments can be.

What we love about her work is the space it creates for all kinds of women and all kinds of stories. Mothers, sisters, friends, women with children and women without. Each has a place in front of her lens.

Because there’s no one right way to be a woman. ♡

Photographing motherhood is something I have been doing
 since I became a mother.
What I have experienced has left me with a lot of tenderness, but also a sense of clarity.
I know how precious this moment is, intense, sometimes confusing, often silent.
