Amandine Kuhlmann is a freelance photographer based in Paris, France. Her work focuses on the female form and gender identity.

My inspiration mainly comes from my teenage years; this period when your emotions are the most powerful. In my images, i try to recreate scenes, playing with colors, and with a certain erotism. I also want to be a part of the fashion sphere, and focus on exuberant details and accessories. From a visual point of view, men’s bodies were never really appealing to me. Since i started photography, I always felt more comfortable and inspired by girls. Beyond esthetic, I understood that the act of self-acceptation as a woman was far more powerful, through pictures, and in life in general. Staging the female’s body licentiously is my way of asserting myself as a woman and as a photographer.
