In a world obsessed with permanence, Genesis.exe celebrates the in-between. The Paris-based jewelry project by photographer Helen Milova turns transformation into something tangible — a glimmering ode to becoming.
Her debut collection, Genesis, features beaded butterflies strung on stainless steel chains — hybrids of fragility and strength. Worn as belly chains or necklaces, they trace the body like quiet reminders that beauty often lives mid-metamorphosis.
Created during a period of personal transition, each butterfly carries Milova’s reflections on loss, renewal, and the cyclical nature of change. The hand-beading became ritual — a way to process endings while shaping new beginnings. Each piece in Ghenesis.exe exists as a small act of faith: that darkness can incubate light, and that what’s next is always waiting to unfold.

Letting go of an old version of yourself isn’t easy. But maybe transformation isn’t about abandoning who we were — it’s about carrying those fragments into what we’re becoming.
