Romy Alizée is a French erotic photographer and sex worker based in Paris. In her analog, black and white, photography work, she lays eyes on nudity and sex, with a queer & feminist lens, challenging mainstream representations of sexuality. She has self-published several zines, and in 2018 she published her first photobook “Furie” with Maria Inc, featuring self-portraits staging her most intimate sexual fantasies. Romy recently spoke out about the sexist censorship of social networks in an article published by Libération and signed by more than a hundred artists: FURY AT THE CENSORSHIP OF THE NET. In 2019 she co-directed her first movie with Laure Giappiconi, “Romy & Laure… et le secret de l’Homme Meuble”, which was shot on 35mm film.

This is her latest photography series “She was laying on my bed but I couldn’t do anything, so I imagined.” featuring Celio (@doc_celio) and herself.
