Celeste Ortiz is a photographer based in Chile, dedicated mostly to self-portraiture, exploring the concepts of intimacy, body, introspection, femininity and nature.
“I have been doing selfportraits since I first held a camera, using my own body and space, my room, to create images. In the last year I have been trying to expand my subjects. Looking at what surrounds me, I found great interest in flowers and fruits. I try to blend those elements to represent the connection of the body and nature as a whole, an intimacy with something that I used to think was external to myself.”
