Colette Pomerleau is a photographer from Las Vegas, Nevada, now based in Berlin, Germany.
“This series ‘Fleeting Moments of Contentment’ explores the experience in which someone realizes that not only is change constant, but that it’s impossible to stay content for long. Born out of a collaboration with a fellow expat who moved to Berlin from the West Coast around the same time, Erika and I found it incredibly easy to commiserate over the similarities in our transition. Being able to visualize emotional and physical forms through portrait photography makes it easier to accept, that it’s healthy to feel uncomfortable and to grieve people and things we no longer have access to.“
