What if going to an art experience actually felt like hanging out with artists?
Our longtime friend and artist colleague Maansi Jain recently made her theatre acting debut in Oslo, Norway, at @dramatikkenshus. The experience inspired a new series of photographs featuring Maansi and her co-stars, which have now become the starting point for her latest project in Berlin.
This fall, Maansi is creating a series of conceptual art experiences combining performance, craft and creativity, designed for anyone who has ever travelled somewhere and thought: I wish I could just hang out with the artists.
And yes, you might even get to LARP as one for an afternoon.
Supported by GetYourGuide, the experiences are open to anyone looking to do something a little different on their next visit to Berlin. Think less “look at art quietly” and more come in, make things, play, experiment and get involved.
We love the idea of making contemporary art feel a little more social, playful and accessible.
Because sometimes you don’t just want to see the art. You want to be part of it. ♡
